Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alanse Inc. ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Atelier (the "Service").
1. Company Information
Alanse Inc.
Representative: Daichi Okazaki
Address: 28-21, Kita 8-jo Nishi 13-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido 060-0008, Japan
Contact: support@alanse.co.jp
2. Data We Collect
Account information: your email address and user identifier, obtained through Clerk when you sign in.
Usage data: which tools you called and when, whether each call succeeded or failed, the error message when it failed, how many slides were created, and credits consumed.
Client information: which editor you connected from (Claude Code, Codex, and so on) and its version. The AI model running behind that editor is not sent to the Service, so we do not collect it.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not hold card or bank account details — only a customer identifier and subscription status.
3. How We Use Data
To provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, manage credit balances and billing, identify and fix failures, and improve the quality of the Service.
4. Slide Creation and Processing
The Service receives HTML written by the AI agent you connect (Claude Code, Codex, and so on), renders it in a real browser on our servers to measure the position and size of every element, and converts the result into a form Figma can draw. We do not send your prompts or text to any AI model — the writing is done by the agent you have contracted with, outside the Service. Only if you use the Google Slides export does the converted slide content get sent to Google's servers.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with the following providers to the extent needed to operate the Service. We do not sell or otherwise provide personal information to third parties for any other purpose.
Cloudflare: our infrastructure (servers, database, file storage).
Clerk: authentication. Handles your email address and credentials.
Stripe: payment processing.
Latitude: usage measurement. Receives your user identifier, the tool name, timings, and the name of the editor you connected from. Your email address is not sent.
Google (Fonts): slide previews load fonts from Google Fonts, which means the IP address of whoever views the preview is disclosed to Google.
Google (Slides API): only when you use the Google Slides export.
6. Security
Traffic is encrypted with TLS, and access to stored data is limited to what is necessary. That said, no system is perfectly secure.
7. International Transfers
The providers above operate facilities outside Japan, so your information may be stored and processed outside your country of residence, primarily in the United States.
8. Cookies
The Service uses cookies needed to keep you signed in (issued by Clerk), to remember your
display language (PARAGLIDE_LOCALE), and cookies set by Google Tag Manager so we can see how the site is used.
We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time.
Google Tag Manager sends your page views, referrer, IP address and browser type to Google so we can see which pages get read. The contents of your slides are never sent.
9. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Account details can be viewed and changed in Clerk's settings; other requests can be made using the contact address above.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. When we make a material change, we will tell you through the Service or by email.
